1. An Overview of Data Protection
General Information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Since our services are exclusively directed at businesses and entrepreneurs (B2B), we process data strictly for commercial and business purposes.
Data Collection on this Website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
The website operator (see Legal Notice / Impressum).
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected on the one hand when you provide it to us (e.g. during registration). Other data is collected automatically when you visit the website by our IT systems (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data is used to manage your member account, to provide the eBay API interface, and for the optional HTTPS image hosting.
Information on Your Generator Data and Image Hosting
Your entered product details, descriptions, prices and template configurations are not stored on our servers by default. All inputs in the editor are processed locally in your web browser’s memory. If you use the „JSON Download“ function, the file is saved directly to your local hard drive.
Exception – Image Hosting (Premium Feature): If you are a premium member and use the drag-and-drop image upload function, the product images you upload will be permanently stored on our dedicated vServer in Germany in order to display them via encrypted HTTPS links in your eBay listings. For users of the free trial, this function is technically disabled.
2. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures
Data Protection
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR / DSGVO) and this privacy policy.
Responsible Party
The responsible party for data processing on this website is:
DJ-Industrieteilehandel
Owner: Danijel Jeremic
Odenwaldstraße 5
76461 Muggensturm
Germany
Email: info@dj-industrieteilehandel.de
Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your data (e.g. retention periods under German tax or commercial law).
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, the affected business customers and persons have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their registered office, their place of work or the place of the alleged breach.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a B2B contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.
Information, Deletion and Correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data.
3. Infrastructure, Hosting and Technical Data Collection
IONOS Web Hosting & Dedicated vServer
Our website, the generator platform and the image hosting backend are operated on server infrastructure provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
Data processed: When our website is accessed and when product images hosted by us are retrieved by end customers on eBay, the server automatically records server log files. This includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, and IP address. For the image gallery on eBay, the IP addresses of eBay buyers are technically transmitted to our server when the image is loaded.
Purpose & Legal Basis: Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract performance (provision of the image link for your eBay listings) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the stability, security and error-free delivery of image data.
Data Processing Agreement: We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with IONOS in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our website uses the technologies „cookies“ and „local storage“. These are small text files or data blocks that are stored locally on your device via your web browser.
Technical necessity: We use technically necessary local storage elements exclusively to make our application user-friendly and secure, and to display your live template preview configurations in real time in the browser window.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a technically optimized and functional B2B platform).
Matomo Analytics (Privacy-First Web Analysis Without Cookies)
We use the open-source software Matomo on this website to analyze the browsing behavior of our visitors and to optimize our user interface for commercial sellers.
Privacy-First configuration: Matomo is configured to run completely without tracking cookies. In addition, your IP address is immediately anonymized upon collection (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx).
No sharing with third parties: Matomo is hosted locally on our own secure servers in the EU. No analytics data is transferred to third parties or external Matomo servers.
Purpose and legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since the data is immediately anonymized and no cookies are set, the interests of users in protecting their privacy are fully preserved.
4. Third-Party Services and Access Management
Digistore24 (Payment Processing & Reseller)
We do not process payments and do not handle checkout directly. All order processing, invoicing, tax calculation and contract handling is carried out by Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany.
Data processed: Name, company name, company address, email address, VAT ID and payment method – directly in Digistore24’s secure checkout form.
Purpose & Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance). Further information can be found in Digistore24’s privacy policy.
DigiMember / WordPress Account Creation
Once a purchase or free trial access via Digistore24 or our website has been confirmed, our platform automatically creates a member user account in our WordPress infrastructure using the DigiMember plugin.
Data processed: Username (business email address), first name, last name and the unique Digistore24 purchase/order ID.
Purpose: Verification of your active access rights (free 48h trial, monthly or annual pass) and activation of the corresponding feature set in the generator panel.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (technical fulfillment of the software provision service).
5. Specific SaaS Functions (Image Upload & eBay API)
Premium Image Upload Function
The Generator offers registered premium customers an integrated function for directly uploading product images. The uploaded image files are stored on our dedicated NVMe vServer to be embedded via HTTPS links in eBay.
Data processed: Image files (e.g. JPG, PNG, WEBP), your associated user ID for unique account assignment and the upload timestamp.
Purpose: Provision of stable and fast image hosting for the customer’s eBay templates. The uploaded images are publicly accessible via the generated URLs (required for display on eBay).
Storage duration: Images are stored for the duration of the active paid subscription. After termination or expiry of the subscription, the uploaded images will be irrevocably deleted from our servers within 30 days.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance within the premium plan).
Cross-Selling Function via the Official eBay API
The Generator features a cross-selling function that establishes a direct connection to the official eBay programming interface (eBay API). This allows merchants to load live data (such as product titles and item photos) from their active eBay listings directly into the template.
Data processed: Entered eBay item numbers, eBay member names (seller ID) and public item data returned by the eBay API. As part of these API queries, we do not process any personal data of eBay buyers or permanently store it on our servers.
Purpose: Automated creation of cross-selling galleries to increase the merchant’s revenue.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).
