Answers to the most common questions about the eBay Template Generator.
Is my data stored on your servers?
No. All your data – texts, image URLs, colors and settings – is processed exclusively in your browser and never transmitted to our servers. Saving creates a local JSON file on your computer.
Can I choose where to save the design file?
The save location is determined by your browser (usually the Downloads folder). To choose the location yourself, enable „Ask where to save each file before downloading“ in your browser settings. In Chrome you’ll find this under Settings → Downloads.
How many templates can I save?
Unlimited. Since files are saved locally on your computer, the number is only limited by your available storage space. Name your files meaningfully (e.g. „drill-2026.json“) so you can find them easily later.
Does the generator work on all browsers?
The generator works best in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. Older browsers or Internet Explorer are not supported.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser – no installation, no download, no app required. You only need an internet connection and a modern browser.
What happens when my subscription expires?
After your subscription expires you no longer have access to the generator. However, your locally saved design files (.json) remain on your computer. Once you renew your subscription, you can load these files and continue working.
Is the generator GDPR compliant?
Yes. Since no personal data is stored on our servers and all processing takes place locally in your browser, the generator is GDPR compliant by design.
Are the legal texts in the generator legally binding?
No. The provided fields are placeholder templates. You must enter your own legally reviewed texts. The generator does not replace legal advice. Please consult a qualified lawyer or use a specialized legal text service for binding legal texts.
What does the generator cost?
There are three options: 24h trial access for €3.90 (net), monthly subscription for €24.90/month (net), or annual subscription for €199/year (net, equivalent to €16.58/month). All prices excl. statutory VAT. Billing via Digistore24.
Who is the generator for?
The generator is designed exclusively for commercial sellers – entrepreneurs, traders and self-employed individuals who want to create professional eBay listings. Private buyers are expressly excluded.
